General Accountant

InterAtlas is currently seeking a General Accountant to join our team. Reporting to the CFO and Controller, in this role you will be responsible for full-cycle accounting for our Chemical Division.

We source material from vendors across the globe for our North American based customers. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Invoicing and Accounts Receivable
    Accounts Payable and vendor relationships
  • Journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, inventory subledger review
  • Month-end responsibilities including Trial Balance through to preparation of P&L
  • Assist in performance analysis for the period
  • Additional financial projects or tasks, as required

QUALIFICATIONS THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO US:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a General Accountant role, or similar
  • Experience with QuickBooks is nice to have, but not necessary if you have experience in other or similar ERP systems
  • Solid Excel knowledge and experience, creating spreadsheets using Vlookups, SUMIF, and similar functions
  • A post-secondary education, focused on Business Administration & Accounting
